I recently decided to improve my headphone output by purchasing a special headphone amp and a new set of cans. Of course, I then drew attention to the headphone extension cable, which was at least 30 years old. It was high time for an exchange. So far my 16ft version of this extension seems to have tremendous value. I ran an extensive A/B analysis and could not detect any inherent noise generated by the cable itself during playback. Great for audiophiles and non-snobbies alike. Despite its length, it is light. The area where the cable enters the ports appears secure. Plugs snap securely into place. Its crystal clear nylon outer shell has a metallic quality that gives it strength and durability. Of course, use will show this over time. But as a new owner I have no regrets. Check it!
