Perfect consistency: soft enough to liquify with body heat between your fingers, just the kind of beard balm I prefer. Easy to get out of the jar with one finger. Doesn't control hold very well, but I prefer a beard balm that helps with conditioning and keeps my beard soft rather than holding it in place. The scent of sandalwood is more pungent, cedar sandalwood, rather than soft, creamy sandalwood. I prefer creamy and powdery, but that's exactly the right (and frankly woodier) interpretation of the scent. I will order more when this jar runs out, maybe try their other flavors.
