They're pretty comfortable, much better than regular joycons. With no cable, they suck, great lag. The rumble is pretty ridiculous and makes a lot of noise when the switch is toggled on or off, likely due to the plastic construction. The turbo and macro buttons are frankly horribly placed, especially for large hands. I accidentally pressed it many times and don't understand why a turbo button would click fast and fooled me multiple times lol. There aren't many instructions on how to use these buttons either, or I just didn't read the manual enough. BUT they are very handy and I wouldn't play on portable devices if I didn't have them. I've had them for a few months now and they still work well. If you're careful with turbo buttons, only use them in manual mode, and get used to the rumble, this isn't a bad buy. I also had a lot of trouble finding a good case to fit them. I ended up buying a case designed to hold the pro controller, switch and charger and it works fine for me.
