I was looking firstly for a watch for a small wrist that I didn't want leather and secondly for a watch with a large face. I also wanted it to look expensive. The bracelet next to my watch in the photo is 14k gold, they don't match but look very nice. I will say you need to practice with this clasp, make sure you feel a click or the watch is unreliable, it took some time to get used to, although I knew immediately when it wasn't closed, and never risked losing a watch. You will get used to it.
