I have owned several sets of Rok Straps over the years, primarily used for attaching gear to motorcycles. They are easy to attach, easy to use and easy to remove too. The loop mount easily attaches to the bike surface without metal or hard plastic hooks as attachment points. If you choose the right strap length and strength for your application, they are much easier to use than traditional bungee or ratchet straps and very reliable. I don't store my bikes outside so can't comment on UV/UV durability, but when stored in a garage the belts have lasted several years with no loss in strength or performance. They are more expensive than standard rubber straps or inexpensive tie down straps but I really like this product and will use them for as long as I need motorcycle mounting solutions. Bungee and ratchet straps have their uses, but for easily attaching gear for commuting, motorcycling, or hiking, they're hard to beat.
