Combines comfort, control, and versatility

I have a lot of nerve damage in my arms and hands due to a car accident, so I really struggle to hold the lead with my hands. I’m so happy I found this lead! I’m so much more comfortable walking my dog, not having to wrap a regular lead around my hand several times to avoid dropping it, or tie on a waist lead that isn’t really secure, and provides a painful jolt any time my dog pulls away in the slightest. Not to mention that most waist leads feature bungees, which while maybe practical for runners, just encourage pulling. This lead is great for control and super versatile. I hook my end at the second loop and wear it crossbody so that the two padded sections go over my shoulder. This leaves two sections between me and the dog for an open area stroll with the option to shorten up to only one section for walking through busy areas or traffic crossings. The lead does seem a bit thin, but my dog is only 50lbs, so it seems adequate for him.

Pros
  • The leash is long enough to accommodate different walking styles, such as jogging or brisk walking.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for training puppies
