Review on Overboard Waterproof Roll Top Camera 7 Liter by Nick Mcvey

Beautiful but not perfect

This bag measures approximately 4 inches x 4 1/2 inches at the base. The top hole measures approximately 7 inches by 5 inches and measures just under 12 inches. When folded it fits my D7000 with a 35mm lens with some room. Standard zoom 17-50 is fine. A large body or lens will not fit properly in this bag. The shoulder strap measures approximately 40 inches including buckles. weave waterproof fabric. It's probably superficial, but still disappointing. I filled the bag with paper towels and left it in the shower for about 15 minutes. Everything went well, the contents stayed dry. I then held it on full blast for a few minutes directly under the tub spout. Even if the edge of the bag was turned over four times, a strong jet of water was able to penetrate the contents, but not very strongly. A real camera would probably be fine, but I wouldn't risk it on rapids or in the ocean. Overall I really like this bag. Perfect for my needs in the city. Outdoor enthusiasts might want to forgo the sleek look and shoulder strap and instead go with a quality standard dry bag.

Pros
  • I've always loved it
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
