Review on Tuphen Sleeping Bags: All-Season Cold And Warm Weather Gear For Backpacking, Hiking, And Camping – Lightweight, Waterproof, And Perfect For Adults, Kids, Boys, And Girls – Indoor And Outdoor Use by Terrance Haralson

Decent bag, but not for above average adults, and probably not cold seasons

I bought two of these, one for me, and one for my wife. My wife will continue to use it, but I will be handing mine to my daughter.I'm not a huge guy, but I'm not tiny - 6', 265lbs with a larger upper body build, and I couldn't fit both of my arms in the bag with it fully zipped up. It worked well enough as a blanket in cool-ish humid Ohio weather, but I'll be looking for something larger for the future. For reference, my wife is 5'9" and much lighter than I am.It packs down fairly small compared to older bags I've had. The two separate zippers (side and bottom) were a little strange to me, but I guess it'll let you open the bottom and let your feet out. There wasn't anything really wrong with other than it being a bit small for me.

Pros
  • Cost-effective alternative to more expensive sleeping bag brands
Cons
  • Not suitable for winter camping or extreme weather conditions
