In our experience, we have had a very high failure rate with our DVD burners and recorders. The price was great, but with such a high failure rate it wasn't good value for us. Please note that your experience may vary based on hardware. You may want to try a small batch first to see if they work for you. We have also found that almost all CMC DVD blanks have a similarly high failure rate in our hardware. This at least points us to the possibility of these discs being produced by CMC. After using thousands of blank JVC DVD-R discs, we haven't had a single disc error. After CMC bought JVC, the failure rate reached 98%. We now use Verbaitim AZO discs with DVD-R 16x dye. Success has returned to us. When someone burns as many DVDs as our big church does, a high bounce rate really matters.
