WOW. I just received this remote control. I have a conglomerate of entertainment devices consisting of: 1. an "old" (new to me) flat panel RCA that was given to me but without the original remote. I had an old universal remote, it seemed to work.2. refurbished OLD DVD/VCR combo. Without controls on the box itself and with it the remote control will not work. I'm stuck on the opening credits on something when I have to decide what to do. intro h*ll. No menu options. (Note: laying face down next to the combo and yelling "PLAY FUCK YOU PLAY!" won't work.) 3. Refurbished Roku. So I had a universal remote to turn the TV on and off with volume control and source switching, and I have a crappy Roku remote that you basically have to point DIRECTLY at the infrared receiver (not just left or right, up or down). is acceptable, a brutal master) and as I said, nothing for a DVD/VCR combo. Useless thing that takes up space and is dangerously close to being recycled. This new remote control was the last chance. I AM an island of mismatched devices. The remote came. I was skeptical. Nothing else has ever worked. The code for the TV worked! First try! OMG TV with features. Then amazing .ROKU compatibility! And again the first try! I laughed out loud at every success. And then. First combo attempt - The seller here was VERY nice to send me a suggested code when I asked for it. I CAN WATCH DVD NOW! I CAN CHOOSE OPTIONS. I CAN FINALLY TRAIN WITH JILLIAN MICHAELS! (Oh shit. I may not have thought it through properly.) Right now I'm sitting in a world of wonder. * One remote control to control them all. A remote control to bind them. One remote to work with everyone and find them on the couch. * Not only am I amazed by the seller's help (thanks!) but also by the simplicity and excellent results of this remote control.
