Review on PlayStation Vita Wi-Fi Aqua Blue (PCH-2000ZA23): Japanese Import - Unique Gaming Experience by Michael Nard

I'll start by admitting that I own several PlayStation Vitas. I know how they work, you need a memory card around 16-32GB (Sony brand specifically for PS-Vita) if you want to download games from PS store. Yes, they are expensive too. Anyway, getting to my actual point, this teal Vita is a GameStop exclusive, which they also have to sell worldwide because GameStop is almost completely sold out here in the US. The device I received was NOT new. The box wasn't sealed (no big deal), the screen was dusty like it had been sitting on someone's shelf for months, and the real clue was that it was already linked to someone's PlayStation account! I find it interesting. Another important clue was that he had the latest firmware (3.65) installed. If it hadn't been made a few days ago it wouldn't have shipped from the factory with this one. They're either refurbished (doubtful) or someone is smuggling them out of Japan and repackaging them in the United States (to avoid paying export duties or something). My device is Japanese but it was set to English. I could tell because the x and o key commands were swapped when I set it up. Luckily whoever used it before me took good care of it because I didn't find a single scratch on it. This is really nice vita, I like the color. It's unique. I will not send it back. Just note that you can get a used Vita for the price of a new one here.
