Installed on a cub cadet xt1. I pull a small trailer and wanted something stronger than the built in thin still hitch plate. I'n not using the receiver tube part. I'm only using the flat part with a whole in it. I added some clear vinyl tubing to the support that pushes on the back side of your mower plate. I didn't want for the two parts to wear off the paint and cause rusting. Do yourself a favor. Either jack up the back of the mower or remove the battery so you can see behind your rear plate. If you don't, you may pinch some wires that are back there.
