The gray connector on the front requires a slight movement to plug in the power cord. It's not bad, almost imperceptible when using an easy-to-reach plug, but inconvenient when you're reaching for furniture to plug this thing in. Overall performance from the USB ports is lower than we'd like, but if you're plugging in at a hotel overnight you'll never notice, and if you're using a low-drain device with a high-drain device, you won't notice it doesn't play either Role. My tablet and phone charge noticeably slower together, swap one out for something that uses less power like my Kindle and it works just as fast as the official power adapters. Put away the first time, but after opening/closing a few times it came loose and folded easily to throw back in the bag.
