Very fine cotton mesh, non-absorbent

This gauze is much thinner than regular gauze, which is a good thing. Note, however, that cotton does not absorb moisture because it is unbleached. This is a bit odd and causes liquids to drain slowly through the fabric. Whether that's good or not depends on what you're looking for. A NOTICE. I originally posted a review wondering if it really is cotton as it doesn't absorb moisture. The seller replied that it was cotton and that the lack of absorbency was because it had not been bleached. I then searched the internet to see if unbleached cotton is absorbent and I found a product from a medical supply company called "Unbleached Gray Nonabsorbent Cotton" and this product is described as useful when "absorbency isn't is required". " So it turns out that unbleached cotton is actually not hygroscopic. Who would have thought it!
