I don't like 'in-ear' headphones. I find them terribly uncomfortable. The sound is better and the bass is stronger than the external style (e.g. at the airport). It's between them. Flat, but they form a seal, resulting in better sound and much more comfort than the in-house style. The biggest downside for me is the case. It's huge (about 2.5 times larger than an airfield cover). So I don't carry them in my pocket and only carry them with me on days when I carry a backpack. I have no opinion on noise cancellation. Didn't mean anything to me.
