I wore cowboy boots for my wedding reception but wanted something other than regular tall socks to wear with them. It took me a few searches and tries to find exactly what I was looking for. But this was definitely it! They're lightweight, so they don't take up a lot of room in the calf area inside your boots, they're stretchy so they don't fall down. (I even "scrunched" them down some so you could see just the lace at the top of the boot. They never moved from where I positioned them.) They are topped with LACE, not crocheted "lace" but an actual flat lace. A huge bonus is the cushioned soles. My cowboy boots are comfortable already, but paired with these, my feet NEVER hurt during or after my reception. I was very impressed. I will most keep wearing these and will probably order a couple of other colors.
