The green backlight is not even noticeable.
You don't even notice the green backlight. Fixed intermittent dashboard dimming. I even disassembled the original switch, cleaned the contacts. There was a temporary solution. A new switch is what you need. It's so easy to change. This can be done while refueling. You just have to put the parking brake on and move the shifter all the way down and also tilt the steering wheel. Remove the panel and the switch simply pops out. Just lay the skin carefully so as not to break anything. It's old plastic.
