This watch is so beautiful it's a shame I didn't love it enough to keep it. The strap is made up of many tiny links and catches the hair on my arm - oops - so that was amazing #1. Strike #2 was how hard it was to get the lock to engage. I'm sure I could turn this into a science if I keep practicing with it, but it took too long the first time. It's 2 separate straps that you have to connect with a cheap little lock in the middle and the dial is heavy so it slips off your wrist when you try to put it on. Because the band is "plucked" it can be one solid elastic band instead of two separate bands. However, I will say that it is good that you can shorten or lengthen the strap yourself (it contains a tiny flat head). a screwdriver that you can use to easily undo one half of the lock so you can slide it along the band to find the best fit).
