I really like this cable - I hate USB-C because mine always comes out. The best thing about this cable is that it has a much more positive connection when plugged in - almost a click, like a lightning connector. I also really like the 90 degree connector for my iPad Pro. I tried it on my MacBook Pro and it ran at 2.8 amps (the battery isn't very low so couldn't test it at the advertised 5 amps). I think I'll get another one for the MacBook because my old cable keeps falling out - even cost me hundreds of dollars because it slipped out and cracked the screen when it got tangled between the display and keyboard.
