I *love* these toothpaste tablets! The taste is smooth, the foam is luxurious and the sweetness is perfect! I've always hated toothpaste because it tends to be too strong and, as my kids say, spicy. So if you really like mints in the morning, this won't help you. But if you want to enjoy your teeth at least once, then this is what you need. The frothing takes about 30 seconds, and since we still have 2 minutes to brush our teeth, you'll have to be patient. If you haven't used toothpaste tablets before, the new textures will take some getting used to. I count the brushing time when the foaming starts, not when I start brushing my teeth, and the tablets always dissolve completely. My teeth have never been so healthy - maybe because I'm not in a hurry anymore. To be honest, not everyone can take the intense taste of Listerine - the craze of modern oral care - and that suits this strain perfectly. I bought a spare box because I already have a lot of jars at home to store. The "plastic" bags in the box are compostable, and I tossed them all (along with the silica gel) into an old jelly jar. You were fine. It came in a cardboard box and no plastic in sight. I will definitely refill and try chewing gum for children.
