Review on πŸ’‘ SYLVANIA 2-Pack 23W (100W Equivalent) Spiral Candelabra Soft White CFL Bulbs – Energy Efficient Lighting Solution for Chandeliers and Decorative Fixtures by Christine Sanchez

Your best – and only – option.

I've searched all over the internet and hardware stores and apart from some cheap candelabra/E12 base LED "corn bulbs" that reviewers have pointed out, these Sylvania can be flammable Lightbulbs are the brightest bulbs you will find at the base of the candelabra. I'm happy with the brightness and I'm not bothered at all that they warm up to full brightness in a minute. Why is it important? My ceiling fan/lights are the main lights in my house. Unfortunately, they all have a candelabra/E12 base, and the maximum wattage of the three bulbs in each fixture is limited to 120 watts, thanks to federal energy efficiency regulations, which have the unintended consequence of stifling consumer choice. Candelabra/E12 fittings, I can screw three into each ceiling fan/lamp. Now these Sylvania bulbs fit my ceiling fan/lights VERY tight. I had to resort to a few tricks to get them fit. If my outlets and the globe around them would allow, I could just use E12 to E26 adapters and use medium base CFLs or LEDs. However, this does not work. There isn't enough space and these bulbs are too big. So that's my only option. I used to be able to buy them locally at either of the two major hardware stores (you can still find this product on this company's website but it is listed as 'discontinued'). So now I buy them from Revain for more than double the retail price and I've stocked them up because I don't know if Sylvania still makes them or not. 60W or 75W CFLs just aren't the right lighting for my home. It has to match 100W and for that it has to be Sylvania.
