I love this keyboard and mouse combo. It was very easy to install. I just plugged it in and my laptop automatically recognized the devices. All I had to do was push out the battery tabs and I was done. The keyboard has rear ribs that tilt the keyboard 7° when opened. The keys are not flat, but raised like on a conventional keyboard, which I prefer to the ten-finger system. The buttons are easy to press. It's quiet enough, but when I actually start typing you can actually hear the keys tapping, which can be annoying for people in a quiet office, but it's no different than other keyboards of this type. I find keyboards with flatter keys are much quieter. The palm rest is made of hard plastic, but is comfortable to press against the underside of the palm while typing. The mouse fits ergonomically in the palm of my hand and works great on my desktop (both my computer desktop and my real desktop). I think this pack was a fantastic deal!
