As a professional hard worker, I understand that a quality router should and does cost over $35. Based on previous experiences I wasn't expecting much from this beat. To be honest I only bought it because it was the closest fit to the profile I needed. I had to route the edges of 6 drawer fronts and 40 feet of solid red oak paneling. I knew I was trying my luck so I ordered 2 of these to make sure I could get the job done. I'm happy to say that I completed this project in just one fell swoop. It's pretty smoky right now, but it can be sharpened. So I will be able to return the 2nd undiscovered bit. I didn't rate it 4 stars because it's a great piece. I rated it 4 stars because it costs a good $15. I'm sure it will last a little longer on soft wood.
