Long recordings on digital recorders

I was hoping to use it for longer recordings and the battery does the job. It can take hours to set up and record. The size is compact, it records well. The downside is that it's a bit confusing to use and I can only see how to start recording without an app on this webpage. After all, the main purpose of a logger is to simply turn it on and off and then collect data. Transcription can be done using an audio file. Regardless of the price, it serves its purpose. A more traditional, larger recorder would be more ideal if you want pristine sound quality.
