I make boxes from scrap wood, nothing special. Approximately as shown in their product image. Once glued and secured I drill 45 degree holes in the corners and glue in 1/4" dowels (using an IRWIN dovetail saw ;). Pressure sensitive adhesive. If you secured with a nail gun that would be perfect. My projects call for it less sophistication than an actual photo frame so the tool works well I press the work firmly against the frame square to ensure it is square A guide as mentioned in other reviews would have saved time setting up the strap and ratchet ( otherwise 5 stars).
