So this screen is the right screen for surface 4 pro and the resolution and everything is exactly the same as the original. My screen replacement experience has shown that one of the biggest problems has been finding a good screen. I ordered 2 from eBay; The first one was advertised as 'new' but it was a refurbished screen and the second screen was a fake with video issues (after install it looked ok but after about an hour it showed random issues with the video - Flickering half as much The screen didn't appear, the graphics stripe in the middle of the screen, the trash icon and the text were "blocky" and jagged - possibly due to the quality of the screen and when the screen came out of sleep mode the outer edges dark, as in one of user photos here). Anyway, my advice is: 1) Look at the back of the screen and make sure it matches exactly the one that was removed (the second one I bought that had video issues was pure aluminum and didn't match the one I removed). 2) the ribbon cable must be new (must have a protective film/cover over the connectors which is removed prior to installation), 3) when powered on, the trash can icon and text should not appear "blocky" and should be readable, like your original. UPDATE: After about 2 weeks of work, my screen started cluttering after 30-45 minutes. However, the seller is excellent and is expected to refund the money for a broken screen. These Surface Pros are great, but it was difficult to find a replacement screen.
