Being stuck in a very small but "active" kitchen means I need an item that can do multiple jobs, not a lot of pots OR a single-purpose electrical appliance. I use this to brew 2 liters of sweet iced tea concentrate daily: 2 cups of water goes to the bottom of the spout, takes 8 minutes to almost boil -> add sweetener, fresh mint + 8 tea bags. . no matter how long it "cooks". Later, I pour the sifted concentrate into a 2 liter jug half filled with cold water and top up with the water I rinsed the pot with. Boil water for coffee in a French Press, then heat milk for coffee with milk in the same pot. Ideal for sauces + a small amount of soup. Very low maintenance design / glazed iron: Wipe down with baking soda and dry the dingy unglazed iron rim - never had a problem with rusting.
