It's a travel wonder with a lens

I will be traveling to the Middle East very soon and wanted to take as few lenses as possible. I chose this lens which works well in the sun and early evening. It's not the best in low light though, especially at 300mm. That's why I also use a Canon 18-135mm lens for night shots. As a single lens solution, this works well. Take out the lens to rotate before exiting. I was expecting flare, vignetting and distortion at 18mm or 300mm but there was none! Here are some great shots! Came back from the Middle East and just picked up this lens. It was wonderful. I used the T71 at ISO 6400 so night shots without flash were a breeze. The only snag was that when I was taking photos on the beach during the day, I noticed a certain arc on the horizon. Here are some photos.
