I've covered my skinny tree with lights about 10 times and then there were so many left and I let them run through the windows. Very good lights, they were a bit difficult to take out because they got tangled, but they were worth it. The remote control is a great option. They worked like a charm - not a fan of blinking/flashing lights, but the transition from white to multicolored is beautiful. I've been using them for a month now and they always stay in the same settings I left them on. It's so nice that I can change them up when deciding whether to use a solid color or a plain white.
