I bought these to attach to my cat's harness and collar when in a somewhat futile attempt to discourage her from eating small animals kill, go outside. They are easy to put on and take off and she cannot take them off (I put one in the ring on the back of her harness and the other in the collar around her neck). They also seem to be quite durable. However, they are not as loud as I had hoped. She has also learned to sit quietly in her lair and wait for unsuspecting rodents to appear, then pounce. When they hear them coming, it's sometimes too late for them to run, even though their chances of success seem greatly reduced.
