Basic pins. Not steel.

Simple, very thin pins. Only complaint is that they aren't steel so they don't stick to my magnetic pin holder. That's my feedback!

Pros
  • They are fine, I just wish they had a bigger head. They are perfect for sewing over,
Cons
  • The plastic boxes do not have a secure latch to keep the pins in place

They shipped out immediately after I purchased them in Best Buy.

I bought these stick pins to use in crafting. They work good and are sturdy. The thickness is just right as I am using them with foam board and do not want a large hole.

Pros
  • I ordered these for a shadow box project I have and they work great. Exactly as pictured and described.
Cons
  • The pins are difficult to reinsert into the plastic boxes

Not worth it. for my opinion

Not what I expected at all. I had to through out like 50 of them because the point was either dull,or there was no poi t at al l. Additionally, some were bent or halfway broken. Lastly, they are short and if inferior quality.

Pros
  • The product was as ordered.
Cons
  • Several pins bent several pins had no point.

Good quality good for me

Couldn’t find stainless pins anywhere, so really pleased I could get them quickly on Best Buy. Just what I need for pinning a sports jersey to frame it.

Pros
  • Crafting gifts for friends, pins worked will to hold cloth in place.
Cons
  • The plastic boxes take up too much space in a sewing kit

Buying in Bulk on my review.

Availability in securing straight pins in bulk is important as I complete small items over the next few months for gifts and personal use.

Pros
  • Worked great for pinning photos and tickets to my shadow box
Cons
  • Very thin pins and can't be used to attach missing inlaid pieces of wood to its base.

Box was cracked - my new review

Product itself was great! No complaints. The plastic box it was shipped in (despite being in bubble wrap and then in plastic under that) was cracked significantly, and pins went everywhere when I unwrapped it. I was going to store them in something else anyway so not a huge deal, but just be careful!

Pros
  • Just the right size straight pin I needed. Packaged nicely and great value.
Cons
  • The plastic boxes do not protect the pins from dust

For the price, ok good for me

The first one of these pins I tested wouldn't go thru my fabric, but I guess that out of a thousand enough will be useable . That's my feedback.

Pros
  • I needed them to frame a cross stitch piece I'd completed. I'm sure I'll use them when sewing also.
Cons
  • The pins can be difficult to find in a cluttered sewing space

easy to handle in my review

love this pins I use them for my hijab and they work perfectly and not as noticeable as I like. I recommend. The pins are not suitable for use with thicker fabrics.

Pros
  • I used the pins to hem a pair of pants and the pins did not interfere with my sewing machine.
Cons
  • The pins are not suitable for use with thicker fabrics

Great "Me " Gift! for my opinion

Bought these new sewing pins as a gift to myself. I have been using the same old pins that I had since junior high Home Economics class. My sister recommended that I treat myself and I did. What a huge difference!Pins just glide into all kinds of fabric. I am tossing out my 50 year old pins today!

Pros
  • Great value for the money. The plastic box it came in was cracked in several places
Cons
  • The plastic boxes are flimsy and easily breakable

Using for Crafts good for me

I make Quilted Christmas ornaments and they use a lot of pins so I buy in bulk when I find a good deal. I also make beaded fruit with foam, beads and pins. Usually buy from W, but hate going there.

Pros
  • Used for crafts
Cons
  • The pins are not durable and break easily

Straight pins for dressmaking or sewing with silk.

They weren't sharp enough to use with material. I purchased them to use with silk material but they were too blunt & would have made runs in the silk.

Pros
  • good
Cons
  • The packaging does not provide adequate protection for the pins during transit

NIce quality on my review.

I got these because I needed some straight pins to go into my micro-nose glue bottles. They don't rust and are working great. I will use them in other projects as well.

Pros
  • I haven't actually used them yet but they came early and they look good.
Cons
  • The plastic boxes do not stack well for storage

EXACTLY what I needed!

I’m so happy! I’ve been searching EVERYWHERE for these super skinny inch-long pins! They come in a cute reusable container. The head is rounded, but not a ball shape. They have sharp ends! They are silver in color. They are an inch long. They aren’t flimsy or cheap.& they are exactly what I needed! They arrived within an adequate time frame in adequate packaging.I could not be happier with my purchase.I don’t believe I will need more, but if I do, now I know where to find them! ^_^

Pros
  • Making Christmas ornaments for a fundraiser. Only found one pin so far with no point
Cons
  • The pins can fall out of the plastic boxes and get lost

Great for our office bulletin board!

These little pins help replace staples in using them for our classroom bulletin board to post kid's art and pictures. The pins have a limited lifespan.

Pros
  • Came in a perfect little case. Pins are sturdy and perfect for what I needed. Would buy again!
Cons
  • The pins have a limited lifespan

I'm Pinned on Phinus!

These are the pins I am looking for to tack up a hem and run it through my sewing machine better than larger pins that get caught up on the foot attachment or have the sewing machine needle hit it.

Pros
  • Might be a little short for regular sewing pins!
Cons
  • Price wise it’s good. But I had more than a few bent ones straight out of the box. A some very weak ones

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Second guessed myself with these

They bent easily but that could’ve been user error. I wanted to use this on my bulletin boards to make items look like if they were floating and they were painful to push in. I may have gotten the wrong ones.

Pros
  • Some of the pins have broken tips
Cons
  • The pins do not hold fabric well

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good for sewing on my review.

These are nice sharp pins and a good length for sewing with fabric. The heads are small enough that they don't get caught by the machine. The quantity is enough to last a good long time and the container they come in is sturdy and closes securely so I don't have to worry about it coming open and spilling pins everywhere.

Pros
  • As described. Arrive on date stated but not 2 day prime.
Cons
  • The pins are not long enough for some sewing projects

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pins are fine and seem sturdy.

The box came wrapped in a thin plastic bag. The pin case was broken at the hinge resulting in a few pins falling onto my carpet before I realized the case was broken.

Pros
  • Some are bent and some are not sharp but not a lot of them.
Cons
  • The sharp tips can poke through the plastic box and cause injury

These pins are just as advertised.

I needed some fine, sharp pins for a Christmas craft project and these were perfect for my needs! I plan to order more. The pins are not rust-resistant!

Pros
  • It was exactly what I was looking for
Cons
  • The pins are not rust-resistant

Very sharp in my review

These pins are really sharp! But that's what makes them so great. Perfect for craft projects. Will be buying more. That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Can't say much about straight pins. They are of good quality and useful.
Cons
  • The plastic boxes are too large for some sewing kits
