Ok both wires are copper colored but there is a red stripe on the insulation so you can keep the sides straight when you connect the wires. This is a very heavy wire and I was very happy with the quality.

Seems a great match for my 150W x 4 RMS amplifier in my truck. It appears to be copper plated aluminum. The insulation is quite thick and there are lots of threads in it to transmit high frequencies. I had no problems with that.

Sturdy quality speaker cable with markings (I really appreciate it). It was the best buy not only for less money but also for the quality. If you're new to speaker wire, get a wire stripper for that too, you won't regret it.

The pressure gauge is enough to run to any pillar in the car. It looks good, not some crazy 'show car', but it looks muscular enough to be respectable. It's a good price and I measure it to make sure it really was the right footage. Works well.

So not quite a divorce, but in the photo there are 2 wires; one is clearly copper-colored, the other grey/silver. However, both cores are copper colored and have a red stripe on the insulation to distinguish them. It's fine (if the strip doesn't rub off), but something to think about if you're installing in dark or poorly lit areas.

Ideal for my application (living room 5.1 A/V system connection); flexible, easy to guide around corners, very well insulated without being "hard". The system sounds great. The 14 gauge seems to be the right size for home theater speakers as the 12 gauge is slightly larger for the intended application. Replace that cheap factory-supplied wire with a good one; Your ears will thank you!
