husband works as an RN and has to walk between buildings or drive an open golf cart and does this for hours on the PM shift. he loves the top and bottom he got in this brand. they have made a huge difference in his comfort this winter and are holding up well to his work conditions. amazingly they have not had to be washed much because of their natural antibacterial qualities. would definitely buy them again.

After shopping awhile, I found these merino wool shirts. I liked that they had many color and pattern options. They were less expensive than most other shirts of similar weight. I bought a red one and a black and white patterned one. Both fit great and keep me comfortable. They seem well made. Plus I got free neck gaiters with each of them. And there is a coupon for a freebie in the package, if you email the company. Highly recommended!

I decided to try this because it was less expensive than some name brand merino wool base layers that i have owned. I’ve worn it a couple of times at the time of this review. I can report that it feels light and helped to keep me warm, as a base layer should. It is not quite as soft as Smartwool base layers that i have used, but it is comfortable and not itchy. Exercise and weather conditions are too variable for me to offer a scientific comparison of which brand is warmer. Too early to comment

Shirt feels good, soft and doesn’t itch, decent thickness. Didn’t get the gator gift, but I’m not the first to not get it. Otherwise I’d recommend it. For whatever reason the sets only come as small or xxl and the pants don’t come in large. So if you want a matching set in large check around.

I love these base layers! They fit well, I am 5’7”, 145 lbs and typically fit between a small and medium, the size small fits me perfect for a base layer, snug but not tight. I also have a size medium that fits loose enough to be worn as a shirt/sweater. These base layers are soft to the touch. The merino wool feels great on the skin! Incredibly breathable. Looking for perfection in a comfortable base layer, this was not it for me.The oversized neck hole was an exaggerated Scoop Neck, truly not beneficial for keeping artic breezes out.Price excellent rest of the fit very good.

I live in central Texas and deliver gasoline for a living. We don’t really have a need for super warm clothing here. A couple of weeks a year though I’ll find myself standing outside in 20-40 degree Fahrenheit weather. Mostly I use standard thermal underwear with the waffle fabric and it’s fine. I just received the shirt and it seems great. I did have to send back the XL for the XXL but that's probably because I don't like close-fitting tshirts.

I do think it's a bit lacking in fit and "finish", compared to some other brands. But I'm finding all the advantages of wool with none of the durability issues I have noticed in another brand.

This makes an excellent under-layer for cycling. Warm and soft to the touch, i wind up wearing it as daily wear too. That's my feedback.

Good feeling shirt with a slim fit. Not made out of polyester which comes from crude oil and creates a static blockage around the energy body. Very warm, good in the winter climate. Recommend this material over the cheaper because it supports human growth rather than stifling it.

This shirt feels more like the finest cotton than wool. It is hard to believe that it is wool. I bought this as a gift for my son who was wearing an old base layer wool shirt full of moth holes. He loved that shirt, but it needed replacing.I found this great shirt and hope the moths stay away.The fit is true to size.

This wool shirt is comfortable and warm and works well as a cold-weather base layer. It's also good for the environment.
