Easy cleaning, rinse with vinegar and water. Fire glass will not discolor, melt, deteriorate or produce toxic fumes. Gently tumbled to remove sharp edges. Very safe and easy to install. Designed for use in propane and natural gas indoor fire place, fire pits, outdoor fire bowls as well as decorative in garden,back yard,fish tank,swimming pool,flower pot and so on. It does a wonderful job of covering the entire floor of a fire feature, effectively hiding the unseemly pipes and tubes.

not for high temp good for me

Many of the stones have melted into a lump/mass. Not sure if mixing them with the lava stone may have caused this, but not a desirable condition.

Pros
  • Bright & shiny colors, nice product. Have used several times & love these glass rocks!
Cons
  • The shiny, high-luster finish may reflect light in a way that is distracting or even harmful to the eyes.

Beautiful glass on my review.

I’m so pleased with these glass rocks! They have a beautiful shine & they are smooth but shapely… perfect for my outdoor project!

Pros
  • Bought this beautiful glass for my propane firepit. Love the sparkling glass.

  • The glass diamonds may not be as effective at radiating heat as other materials, reducing the effectiveness of a fireplace or fire pit.

Great fire pit stones

Beautiful glass stones for fire pit. These really brought a nice look to our fire pit and have held up well so far. The colors are very nice and I prefer these larger stones to the smaller sharper pieces.

Picture shown was not what I received. They were small chips, not round pieces. The color was much lighter blue than shown.

  • These look great . They give off nice color. Amaze your guest.

  • The glass may be slippery and difficult to walk on, posing a risk of injury.

Used/returned product received

This bag was obviously a returned product, as half the bag was sealed and the other half was taped shut. It was supposed to be a full 10 lb bag and had a little less then 9. Disappointed.

  • Beautiful cobalt blue color really made our fire pit more enjoyable.

  • The glass may create a glare that could be distracting or unpleasant during evening gatherings around the fire pit.

Beautiful color, perfect size

The colors were bright and shiny, they sparkled a lot more than those tiny mirror pieces. They really elevated the look of my fire pit. Love it and would recommend!

Not Good For Fire Pits

Product looks good in our fire pits, but does not perform well. Had several stones break and a few exploded when the fire pit was turned on. Many of the stones become discolored with only a few minutes of the fire pit being on (unused stones on right). It did not take long for the stones to break or become discolored - only about 10 minutes. These may be great for other projects but do not put them in your fire pit.

  • The cost of the product may be prohibitive for some consumers looking for a more affordable option for their landscaping needs

A Fantastic Purchase

Product was delivered on time and works great. Listening to cassette music on the deck with a glass of wine. That's my feedback.

Gorgeous Garden Glass

I used this glass in my pea gravel garden path. It’s so gorgeous when the sun hits it. It glistens and glows. It’s a great value, and clean and can really be seen. It gives my garden a beautiful warmth to the pathway.

  • The small size of the glass pieces may pose a choking hazard to children or animals.

Quality is lacking for my opinion

Several of the rocks have split in half, or cracked. The rocks exposed to the heat have also become discolored and developed soot. Would not buy again, as they do not actually seem to be the quality needed to hold up to the heat.

  • These made a nice addition to the rocks in my gas fire pit. Love them!!!
Cons
  • Good product but looks black in fire. Returning not the look I wanted..
