- Powerful, comfortable, not heavy.
- Inconvenient touchpad, disgustingly uncomfortable.
- Powerful processor, long battery life, lightweight, excellent keyboard, well-calibrated large and bright screen with a small frame, ated automatically to Windows 11. Comfortable slippery touchpad - you can easily do without a mouse in many ways.
- If you find fault, then the potential downside of the lightness of the case may be low strength and resistance to damage. After the Dell M4800, which is made like a tank, I would treat this laptop with extreme care and protect it from bends and drops. In a year or two, you may be tempted to pay more for a touchscreen laptop.
- Great big screen. Good keyboard and relatively normal large arrows. Good touchpad. There is numpad. There is no pre-installed Windows.
- Lenovo does not allow downloading drivers due to sanctions. Technical disadvantages are insignificant: The charging port is easily damaged. The type c plug sticks out a lot. There is no port for ethernet.
- - Incredible screen! 120 Hz will not be noticed only by the blind. The smoothness of animations, scrolling, effects is delightful. Brightness judging by the tests of reviewers 375 nits! Quality like Macbook Air M1. I never even set it to full. On the old laptop, 250 nits was already enough. No dead pixels found. Color rendition is excellent. White color is really white, without warps. Windows has an analogue of True Tone, which changes the temperature and brightness depending on the lighting - turn it off! And then at first I puzzled over why the screen starts to show strangely. Also, Windows has its own Pro Motion, so there are as many hertz as necessary and the extra ones do not eat the battery. - The case is very stylish, pleasant minimalism, rigor. Looks noble. Only fingerprints are great visible, but to do - metal. - In general, uncompromising power for years to come. At the same time, the fans are turned off almost all the time, silence and a cold case. In benchmarks, the 5800H is only slightly behind the M1 Pro/Max, but well ahead of the regular M1. - Very comfortable full keyboard. Low soft pleasant keystroke. Special thanks for the dedicated media control buttons. It was very convenient to turn on and turn off the F group with highlights in Esc. 2 levels of illumination. - Type-C charging is the bomb! You can buy one Gan charger and use for laptop, tablet, phone and headphones. Dream for travelers. - Battery capacity is above average in the Windows world. I have enough for a full 5 hours of work. The last laptop based on i5-1135g7 worked only 2 hours. - Easy. I was specifically looking for without a video card. I don’t need anything for work, but a pound of weight savings. - SSD is good! More than > 3200 MB / s for reading and writing issues CrystalDiskMark. - The touchpad is good! Pleasant, big. And the new gestures in Windows are very handy. The hand does not reach the mouse at all. - Windows Hello is cool technology. It's like FaceID on a laptop. When you open the cover, the infrared camera finds you even in the dark and unlocks the system, and when you move away, it blocks itself.
- - I would like more RAM. The video card eats 2 GB, but in the BIOS you can reduce its appetites to 0.5 GB. I turned it down right away. - I really wanted to find one without a Windows license. Here it is sewn and activated automatically. Installing Pro is problematic even with a license key. Tried, but scored after a couple of attempts. Home single language is enough. - The Lenovo Vantage messing software does not work well in Windows 11 and does not see the latest driver ates. I had to install it myself. And it solves serious problems! - The sound is weak. In a quiet room, I watch YouTube at 80% volume. But at maximum volume there are no wheezing and distortion. In principle, if you live with headphones on your head, then this is not a problem.
- Easy. Stylish. Metal. Productive.
- Screen, video card, case
- Noisy CO, unpretentious sound, keyboard, easily soiled coating, small glare
- Nimble, pleasant materials, the keyboard is comfortable, there is a block of numeric keys (it was important for me), although it is compact, but 16 inches turned out to be quite enough for my tasks. Batteries are enough for 5 hours of work in Revit and calculation programs
- Drivers on Windows 11 periodically flew off. Most often it is either bluetooth or wifi. The problem was solved by ating all drivers with a third-party application (CCleaner). In some applications, not all interface elements are compatible with Windows 11. In general, all the shortcomings are associated with Windows. No flaws were found in the laptop itself for 2 months of work.
- Fast laptop for work and home.
- Haven't found yet
- 1. The matrix itself is normal, but does not cause a wow effect. 2. In the economy mode from the battery, when working in the Word, the laptop really lived with me for about 11-12 hours. Turntables did not turn on. The laptop is cold. This is really cool, given the fact that the percentage here is H series, not U. It is unrealistic to find a normal laptop with 5800U at the time of purchase. 3. The display is narrow-framed and it's nice that there are no inscriptions on it, dude, it's Lenovo or it's 2k, don't forget, you bought an ideaPad. In general, the display frames are cleared of any unnecessary spam. 4. The laptop opens with one hand and the topcase does not rise. 5. The body is quite thin, but the weight is 2 kg, not here or there. 6. Fans, if they start, do not make much noise. 7. The touchpad is comfortable. For the first time I refused a mouse.
- 1. The strongest highlights of the display along the edges of the matrix. I have never seen this before. At first I thought that I had a defective laptop, but after reading the forums I realized that Lenovo has a standard situation. The problem is that during assembly the matrix in the frame was squeezed or there is some kind of unevenness in the frame (excess glue, curvature, etc.). Since I took a laptop to work with documents, these lights were not critical for me, I did not go to the ASC. But when watching dark movies, these highlights will spoil everything. 2. Sound in this laptop for show. It is impossible to listen to music. The laptop's speakers allow you to hear audio material, but not listen to it. There is no bass from the word at all. The sound is very flat and quiet. Why Lenovo wrote DolbyAtmos on the case is a mystery. The software from DolbyAtmos has presets, but the sound is not better set. Tried all modes. Perhaps the sound card supports these codecs, but it's useless if there are no speakers. It feels like an ancient cheap plastic laptop sounds. If we compare the sound with a speaker from , which is mini, then the sound of the speaker is just super, there is even some kind of bass volume. Although I always thought that you can’t listen to music in mini-columns from . Even the iPhone 12 (not pro, but regular) sounds better, there is a sense of volume. If we compare the sound with the Asus N550JK, then the Asuse sound is a bomb, especially with its native mini subwoofer. 3. Lenovo in this laptop gives only 1 type-c connector, and he removed the other for his proprietary charging. Explaining this by the fact that the laptop needs a powerful 135 watt charger. Sadly. The same iGPU model has two type-C ports. 4. Some more buttons have a strange sound, like play. But this is rather subjective.
