Needs some trimming

Well the part fit but required some trimming to actually fit the clip tops into the factory dash holes. The part that replaces the radio and puts a jam hole in its place looks unfinished as it doesn't have a real lip around it. In fact, you can't put anything down at this point, as it will fall to the ground immediately. But when you pull out the original radio, something falls into the gaping hole.

worked as expected, best in car electronics accessories

that worked great and fitted well. It just had to find a radio in a different location than the original one. I wish I had researched more and gotten the original color. I had to turn to YouTube to find the location of the original radio gear. If everything hadn't been there, I would never have been able to install the new radio and work again. A wiring harness and antenna adapter were required for installation.

Factory Look

Fits 1992 Chevy Suburban interiors with premium sound. Very easy installation. I had to make a small modification, but it is related to the radio purchased. The connector was exactly what I needed, I recommend printing out a wiring diagram for a specific car stereo system and soldering the wires for a professional installation. The small storage compartment has a slightly raised edge to prevent items from slipping out. Great place for my remote control that came with my new stereo. In the end…

It's cheap but should work

As others have said I need to drill holes for the vents to fit properly. There is a small "W" clip to re-tension the deflector and the holes are too narrow for them. No big deal, but they should be done. Otherwise, I struggled to get the top clips in, which is good if you never have to pull them out again. In my case I drilled these holes and hope it doesn't break. However, the bottom is as loose as the tight top. It is uncut and flexible in the lower right corner. I should be able to change…

  • I'm writing back

Most DIYers are going to hate having to do what I did to get this job perfect. I installed a single din stereo in my 1989 Chevy Silverado. So that applies to my truck. Maybe this kit is perfect for say. Silverado 1994. I don't know. But here are my problems that I faced. Firstly, you will need to reuse the metal retaining clips from the underside of the existing plastic panel. If you don't have this bar, you're already having a bad day. One of mine broke while removing it, so it's not perfect…
