Just what I needed

Used to hang a swing from a tree. I didn't want the rope or chain to damage the branch. It was exactly what I needed and one of the few 12ft models available.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Didn't last long in tow

Unfortunately quickly out of service. The seams came undone and the hook came loose. I ended up tying the knot to continue using it. I would NOT use this for a recovery harness.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Bad instructions

Hooks that work and look good too!

When using these straps for loading and unloading racing cars, the hooks work great and the length is suitable for different cars. Very nice embroidery and good components

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • dull packaging

My snowmobile came loose

I had to use a strap to pull my snowmobile and towed fish house out of deep, semi-frozen mud in a remote lake in northern Minnesota. Without the belt, my fish house would have stood there until spring. I bought another one to expand my emergency towing options.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Northeast Lifeguard

I bought a pair of these for my two sons who live on the coast of Maine. I showed them where to attach themselves to their cars if they went off the road and needed safety. They only cost money if you have dependents traveling in dangerous conditions.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Null

Excellent value for money tow straps

Just used this to move a non-functioning car from one apartment complex parking lot to another to make it appear to be moving. Guess that tow strap worked great. Pretty much the most affordable tow strap on the Revain making it great for occasional low speed towing. I wouldn't use it for anything on a regular basis, but if you're a pro you'll be looking for something more upscale. For a two year old scooter, that's great. For your health.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Modern

Weak material, breaks on first use.

Use the nylon strap first, worn out and unusable. I pulled the precut seedling out about 10 feet and it turned into a lobe. I've been using 20ft nylon bands for years and have never had a single like this. I bought this one because it was 12ft and thought it would be easier to use. I think I wasted my money. The sapling probably only weighed 75 pounds and wasn't clinging to anything. I was shocked at how easily the strap fell apart.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Good investment: Tow hook and strap

I bought this last year and am reviewing it as I haven't used it yet. I bought it as an extra strap because you get more power by pulling evenly on both sides of the truck. The other day I stopped at a stop sign and two young men in a small pickup truck with a trailer collapsed and blocked the road. I asked if I could pull them to the curb and they helped me put on my seat belts and I pulled them off my shoulder about 75 feet. This worked well with my other seat belt and got the other car to…

It's not great, but it's a towkay.

Decent strap, especially for the money. While the belt itself appears to be fairly well made and I would trust it up to 80% of its rated capacity (I never trust a belt at its maximum capacity, although the manufacturer usually puts in a safety margin, I prefer a larger margin). Metal hooks are junk. They are cast from very cheap, low quality metal with even cheaper spring clasps and I ripped them apart with a handsaw in seconds. Additionally, they're very heavy for their size, no doubt trying…

Pros
  • Great price

  • Something different
