Perfect for my old cracked key fob cover. But the screw pictured was not included, nor was it in my original keychain. Now it's time to find the right screw.

When I bought a Subaru the key fob was broken and cracked. The first thing I did was go to Revain, search and order. That works great. I changed the contacts from my old key fob to a new one in 2 minutes. Works great.

This is great if you only need the outer shell of the remote control. My original remote cracked where the keychain connects to the remote so it still worked but just stopped connecting to the keychain. I received this replacement case and just slipped the inside of my old remote into this case and it's like new again!

I have a 2003 Subaru Outback LL Bean remote control, but the plastic case broke and the battery didn't fit. The Subaru dealer wanted $125 for a new remote and programming for my car. I bought one of these, took the guts out of the broken case and put it in this new case, watched a YouTube video on how to program it and all was right with the world again.

When I dropped the keys to my old Subaru and the key fob broke I figured I'd have to pay quite a bit more than that to get a replacement. Don't worry about paying more to get a brand new keychain, this case works great. I'm a 64 year old female and not very crafty and I was able to figure out how to open an old key fob and move the "guts" into this case.

The external screws that hold the front and back of the fob together are not included which is a shame. This is especially true if one of the reasons you want to buy that replacement case is that the part where the key ring is located and where one of the outer screws is used could have broken off and been lost. The package did not include the screws shown in the ad. Hence three bordering on two stars. While most of us do-it-yourself experts have an unwieldy bunch of hardware to discover the truth, the lack of screws is annoying and only makes this FOB case worth buying if you have the screws from your old one.
