Easy to program on the first try on a 2003 Subaru WRX. Come in, close the door. Turn the ignition on and off ***very quickly*** 10 times in a row. Then press the button.

My only gripe with this key fob since it came out is that it sometimes sets off the car alarm when locked and the tiny screw that holds it together doesn't stay tight.

Works perfectly. You can find programming instructions on YouTube. The dealer wanted to charge me $200 for the cost of a new keyless remote and program it for me.

The remote is easy to program and works. You can definitely tell that the quality is not that good. To use it you must be close enough to the car. It has also set off my alarm three times so far. It's always fun. 😁

the battery died in less than two months of use and then the battery compartment came loose rendering this key fob unusable when I opened it the case. The material quality of this item is mediocre even compared to the used original OEM I bought on eBay as a replacement which btw works like half price Subaru quality. Great solution to replace your lost key fob. I bought an 04 Forester from a guy who only had a servant key and every time I unlocked a locked door with the key the alarm went off. This keychain is programmed in about 30 seconds and works great. Although some of the other reviews mention poor range, I actually had the opposite.
