Dealer wanted $300 for a new programmed key. Bought these and used the tomskeys programmer and they work great. The programmer cost $125 for 1 key and got them for $25 and programmed them too. The product couldn't be better and the cost is incredibly low. Very very happy!

The seller should clarify that these key fobs ARE NOT FIT FOR PASSIVE ENTRY VEHICLES. You will lock and unlock your doors, but you must remove the start button and push and insert the end of the key fob to start the car. Visit the dealer and get an OEM key fob to avoid numerous problems.

These items are two remote control keys for my car (2009 Dodge Charger). Of course I had to program them as soon as I received them.

I wish there was a way to get them back. I received them and due to Covid I was not able to program them straight away. They needed them to finally program them and everyone refused to program them because they had trouble turning off the machines. So now I'm stuck with keys that no one can program and had to spend hundreds of dollars to get dealer discarded parts.

So when I bought them I found that there are two different types for the same year. One has a slightly different shape than this one. So take a good look before you buy if you plan on just using "skin". I gave them to a friend instead as I only need the plastic trim which is the only broken part of mine and luckily I only bought the car with 1 key so I can't program new keys without a dealer's help. . :( The spare keys were great.
