I've never had a folding comb but now I think I'll always carry one with me. It's very durable and convenient in my pocket. It won't burn or bend in a pocket, and when unfolded, its length is just right for combing your hair or beard. The teeth are cut from plastic so they won't bend or move. I really wanted to have that. That's all I was looking for in a comb. This is a Kent comb so you know it won't damage your hair or in my case my beard. However, it is quite small! Kent undoubtedly makes the best combs. I bought this to use as a travel/pocket beard comb. I've never owned a Kent folding comb, but I knew from experience that I couldn't go wrong, and I didn't. The rivet on the clip only allows the clip to be twisted in place so it's pointless and the comb would be better without it. I would say this comb is too short for me to use - a bit unexpected but I think I could know that. Otherwise, it's pretty much what you'd expect. Oh, and the gold letters wear off fast if that's important to you.

Looking back on my purchase I have owned this comb for 3 years almost to the day. and a razor bag. The pocket clip on my original comb is still very strong and has loosened a bit on the three replacements. I've also seen others complain that the gold letters have worn off. It disappeared off my comb almost immediately and I prefer it. It just looks better without the big brand name. I just know that losing him (again) makes me a little nervous. I use it quite often and it has held up very well.
