Apparently this was the brush I needed! I have rather thin fine wavy hair that doesn’t stay straight and doesn’t stay curly. My hair is frizzy and until this brush I really had a hard time with it. This brush pulled it so smooth. Very easy to use and I really noticed the difference there really is something to the boar bristles pulling the oil down to the tip of the hair and smoothing it out. As well as the combination with the nylon so that you can actually get a grip and get the brush through

This is a fabulous styling brush for a blow-out with long hair. It has the benefits of boar bristles intermingled with nylon pins -- which really grab the hair when styling. I find that boar bristles alone do not easily penetrate through the hair to the root and tend to only brush the surface, making styling with a boar bristle brush ineffective. The addition of the pins makes styling a breeze. As it is a large barrel brush, it's definitely for styling longer hair.

Would give 5 stars as I love this brush. The only reason I took off a star is because there is no grip on the handle and it spins a bit in the hand. Other than that a wonderful tool to get a really nice shine.

This brush leaves my hair so soft! I was replacing a metal round brush that was sold to me by the salon and heated up so much by the dryer it literally burned me to the point I had a burn mark on my neck for a week from a one second touch. I was mainly looking for something that was all wood and wouldn’t heat up but this is probably the best brush I’ve ever had even among boar bristles. The little brush cleaner actually works amazingly as well!

I had been looking for a good wooden, round brush for some time where the bristles wouldn't come in my hair. A lot of brushes are so cheap! I have thick wavy hair. I'm thinking about ordering another for a back up. However, this will only be helpful long-term if you use the proper shampoo and hair products for your hair texture.

I have spent thousands of dollars over the years with getting blow outs for my thick and coarse hair. With the salons closed I committed to at least maintaining my hair without having to use my flat iron as much. This brush was one of the best purchase of my life! My hair comes out beautiful when I do my own hair. I really should have been doing it a long time ago.
