Description of 27" Monitor LG 27UP850-W, 3840x2160, 60Hz, IPS, black/silver
- Picture quality, type-c. Compatible with both mac and windows. A complete set of cables for any occasion. Usb works like a hub.
- The build is disgusting. There is a gap of 1-2 mm in the corner. Is it in a 40k monitor?
- Image quality, you can recharge the poppy from usb-c.
- The quality of the matrix, unfortunately after half a year black dots began to appear. At first I thought that these were motes and they could be wiped off with a special cleaner for monitors, but alas.
- Colors, powerful charging
- Build quality,
- Excellent model for work with MacBook.
- For me, none.
- I sat on Asus for several years with Adobe RGB coverage - for working with color in printing - a sweet deal. But then such an idea came up, should I switch to a slightly smaller Display P3 coverage and a higher resolution, from Full HD to full-fledged Ultra HD (4K). And then, of course, the prices for good Adobe RGB models knocked me down, something decent - starting from 80 thousand, while very decent with Display P3 - "only" 40 thousand. And it's not a huge loss in coverage, plus Apple's widespread coverage, there are simply physically even more models on the market than models with Adobe RGB coverage, the competition is higher in this average between sRGB and Adobe sector. And I highly appreciate the monitor's belonging to one or another standard coverage, applephiles will understand me - there, even without calibration, the standard is a standard, and not god knows where the coverage came from, which is not like anything. No, I'm for Photoshop, calibration and all that, but not all damn programmers, unfortunately, want to bathe in color management in general, and I'm not only in Photoshop. The standard coverage itself is cool. Coverage is clearly more than sRGB - that's cool. Huge Adobe RGB in applications without color management is not convenient, and Display P3 is convenient, oddly enough, the iPhone and iMac convinced me of this. About the same thoughts. I have a monitor with licked vcgt for a long time, but over the years the Full HD resolution has certainly become outdated. Even in my purely publishing more convenient format of 1920x1200, and not just the game 1920x1080, something was not enough for me.

- image quality, ppi, design
- build quality, there is no way to control the sound if you connect headphones to the monitor
- Meets expectations, rich equipment,
- 1. My copy - small highlights at the edges, not perfect black / gray, but without dead pixels, in general, a standard story for this class of IPS panels. 2. The order in the LG store hung on hold until he called to confirm the order. 3. Receiving a signal via Type-C does not work (more details in the comment)
- The monitor is excellent, pleases everyone: - High PPI with a large diagonal - Connection to MacBoock Pro 13 on M1 with one wire for charging and connecting peripherals. At the same time, the “LG UltraFine” color profile is loaded in the system and interface scaling is available
- There are lights. But they are only visible in an unlit room when shooting with a camera
- Claimed multimedia color gamut DCI-P3 is verified by calibration with a spectrophotometer. In monitor mode 4, the tone-transmitting function of the sRGB gamut is accurately reproduced, that is, in this mode it works in the Apple standard - Display P3 and actually does not need calibration, the vcgt tone-transmitting curves of the profile are obtained in mode 4 almost linear, that is, knowing this from the reviews of calibration modes - may or may not be calibrated. 4k IPS matrix is satisfied in terms of resolution and detail. Scaling to my vision and with such a diagonal in the operating system is required. Font smoothing on such a super-small pixel is simply gorgeous, man-made screenshots are gorgeous.
- I don’t like the fact that the market does not rank monitors and laptops by color gamut at all, and this is the most important. I searched in another service for coverage, but I bought it here for 41at the end of 2022. I look at the price has grown specifically, but the monitor is worth it.
- Brightness, contrast, color reproduction for non-professional artistic activities, HDR, laptop charging with data transfer and images with sound through one type-c cord, little glare, very comfortable to read text (code) on it, vesa mount for bracket.
- Sound, huge external power supply, non-removable power supply cable, inconsistent behavior depending on the monitor assembly.
