Love this nozzle for our backpack vacuum. We use it to vacuum a lot of dog hair at the dog daycare. Works great on hard surfaces. The only thing I have is that over time the hair gets caught in the little rubber wheels at the bottom. Eventually they will stop rolling which will cause them to flatten and the attachment will stick to the bottom when cleaning. The house I live in has laminate floors and tile (most tiles are heavily textured). While the neck fits snugly over the stock 1.25" hose, the fastening tool is mostly useless on wooden floors. I really like this product. I work for a company that bought one of these vacuums about 10 years ago. And that head is the one it came with. They used to have a curved vacuum wand. Due to the bend in the stock and the bend in the swivel head, the head will not lie flat on the ground unless you lift the handle high enough. So for this to work properly I need to find some kind of 90 degree converter. So if you have a Hoover backpack vacuum system, it comes with a piece to attach your head to. But

This item is amazing, let me tell you more about how I use it. I use this as an accessory for my central vacuum system.
