This is a great cheap solution to a broken Honda key, replace the key blade and electronics and you're done. No $150 dealer replacement reprogramming required.

I used to buy one of these from Amazon. It was junk and didn't even assemble properly. This one is easy to assemble and durable. Excellent price.

Very easy installation and just what I wanted as my case was cracked. The instructions aren't that bad but I was a little confused putting the case on the key, pretty sure it was user error.

Easy to install, durable. The screws attach directly to the plastic cover, not the metal insert, so durability may vary. Overall it works well and as described is a cheap replacement solution for an expensive OEM.

Easy replacement for the remote indoor unit (button box) and key blade for my CRV. NO chip exchange as with other Honda models (e.g. Accord). Nothing needs to be programmed as the electronic security chip is embedded in the keypad, which you need to change to a new shell. You need a better screwdriver as the one that came with it got greasy on the first try.

Can't figure out why this key fob is trying to open. It seems to fit the blade of my daughter's broken key ring snugly and the buttons fit the holes perfectly, but try as hard as I could I couldn't get the halves of the key ring to "click together" I think. that they should key blade built-in. Save a ton of money and reuse your original key and fob with this amazing replacement case. My Honda keys, like many others, will fall apart or break over time. Honda did a very poor job designing this key. If that fails, dealers will charge you $130 to have a new key made, plus another $100 for programming. REST IN PEACE!
