It Works! best in my review

This one works and that was nice. The others you sent me failed miserably. Nice size and easy to see when it is done. That's my feedback.

Sand frequently gets stuck

Sand frequently gets stuck, meaning you spend countless minutes tapping the top of it to get it to keep moving. Takes away more productivity having to deal with, rather than being a useful focus tool.

Great gift item for young people.

I gave it as a gift to a granddaughter who can see the time literally passing for homework assignments, music practice, or "time outs”. She loves it!

Actual Time of 20:50

Pros: It looks nice! The frame is sturdy, and the sand does not clump.Cons: When I unpacked the hourglass it had unseated itself from the foam pads that hold it place between the wooden frame. I was able to get it back in but I felt like I had come close to breaking it while pushing it back into place.I also timed the hourglass a few times and it came to 20min and 50s plus/minus a second or two

  • I ordered for my wife and received hers broke. But with a little "Gorilla glue" it was back in action.

it's okay. on my review.

I really wanted to like this product and I do but it is a bit not accurate by about 3 minutes and when it arrived it was not centered which I think adds to the time issue. It really is pretty though.

This Vendor Delivered

Bought what looked like the same hourglass from a different vendor, the sand was wet, and I returned it. The one from this vendor was fine. Very happy with it.

  • I like the looks of the timer. Not perfectly accurate but fine for my use.

  • Needs more moisture control because the grains get clogged in the middle and stick to the side.

Nice Hourglass. in my review

I'm a writer and it's a visual tool that makes me sit up my computer and write for an hour and it looks good too. That's my feedback.

  • Not large, but very visible. its accuracy is not bad, but I did not get it for that.

  • It was really cute! But for the price I thought that it would be bigger, it looks bigger in the picture.

Nice big hour glass, looks nice on a shelf.

It’s looks really nice. I timed it with my iPhone and and my Samsung tablets timer. Mine was 1 minute and 40 seconds to fast.So not great for keeping a time going old school style.I bought it for dungeons and Dragons purposes do it will do.

Piece of junk. good for me

I missed the deadline to return these (unfortunately I purchased two). I don't have internet and couldn't ask for a return in time. Neither one of these work. They have sat on my shelf with the sand in the top. if I tap them they may run for 5-10 seconds then stop. One was a gift for a friend who was moving out of state but I couldn't give it to him. With the other bad reviews and same complaint, this company has to know they are selling defective products. I gave a one star because I wasn't…

Nice with 1 complaint.

It’s an hourglass so there’s not much for me to say. Design wise it looks nice and you can spin the hourglass around which is cool. My only complaint is that with the 1 hour hourglass, sometimes there’s sand that sticks to the glass so you have to shake it for the sand to fall down.

Nice home decor for my opinion

Could be larger, but nice for gifting. Hourglasses have family meaning, so I purchased for my grown children's homes. The hourglass may be too fragile for use in high-traffic areas.

I have always had a love for old time telling things and trinkets. The hourglass is wonderful for me, thank you. I arrived securely packaged and I love to flip the thing over and watch the sand run down.

Time is off in my review

I was hoping that it was exactly 20 minutes, but it is not, It is 30 minutes or less 2 minutes. But I will keep it for an exhibit. My need was to sit 20 minutes and stand 8-10 while working. 30 minutes is not what I was going for.

Beautiful piece. on my review.

This arrived packaged well and makes the perfect addition to my husband's office. He is a counselor so he simply turns it over to start the sessions. The sand is an excellent visual to those in his office of how much time they have left in the counseling. It keeps everyone on track.

I checked mine on a Google timer, mine is almost 22 minutes. It will still work for what I need but you should double check your time 😊

Glass came scratched, dried glue drizzled all over, inaccurate time.

I was expecting something a bit nicer. The glass had a couple of visible scratches on it, which are distracting. The wood and glass are covered in small threads of dried glue. I think both of these might be acceptable, expect the timing is also inaccurate - 17 minutes when I was needing a 20 min timer.Being as I own two other sand timers that are quite accurate and lovely, I am rather disappointed in this one.

Just what I was looking for

I WFH so I need something to remind me to step away and stretch. Some people say to set an alarm using my cell phone but the problem is I will start using my cell phone (check notifications, or services) and lose productivity. This hour glass is great because no notification and no distractions. It is not 100% accurate so if your application is time sensitive then you know what you are getting yourself into.
