Description of 30100 PAA A01 Distribution 1998 2002 1998 1999 30100 PAA A02

Distributor is one of the central parts of the ignition system. A distributor is an enclosed rotating shaft used in spark-ignition internal combustion engines that have mechanically-timed ignition. The distributor's main function is to route secondary, or high voltage, current from the ignition coil to the spark plugs in the correct firing order, and for the correct amount of time. The distributor rotor and cap keep the distributor’s contents separate from the engine and keep the distributor’s working parts clean and tidy, while supporting the incredibly high volts of energy and delivering them to the appropriate spark plugs. The spark plugs utilize the spark from the distributor to ignite the fuel mixture, which is what keeps the engine running. This distributor fits for the following vehicles: Acura CL 1998-1999 L4 2.3L 2254CC,Honda Accord 1998-2002 L4 2.3L 2254CC. Customers can find the product you need accurately according to the OE number. OE part number: 30100-PAA-A01, 30100-PAA-02, 30100PAAA01, 30100PAA02, D4T96-07, D4T97-03, D4T9607, D4T9703, 606-58895. High voltage runs through this entire distributor system during the operation of your vehicle, but if there's an issue this voltage won’t get distributed to the correct spark plugs to ensure that your engine will run. Any time you have routine service performed on your vehicle, ask that the ignition system be checked. If there’s any problem on distributor, don’t hesitate to replace it.

Good inexpensive option

It worked on my '99 Accord, was easy to install, stopped a pesky oil leak and replaced an old 300K ignition coil. For once, couldn't be happier.
