Description of 3M 03441 1 875 Parking Repair

Repair tape patches cracks in taillights, turn signals, parking lights and side directional lights. Strong adhesion resists loosening with age and moisture. Flexible repair tape repairs flat or curved truck and car taillights and signal lights. Quick and easy to use repair tape is less expensive than replacement taillights for minor damage. Provides temporary repair of more severely damaged taillights and signal lights. No Tools Required. MULTI USE APPLICATIONS: Great for repairs on many types of vehicles, such as cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, trailers, ATVs, snowmobiles and golf carts. Creates a secure, water-tight seal, to help block moisture from entering through the damage. Tape also resists yellowing as it ages, maintaining its original transparency. Apply and obtain adhesion at any temperature above 50°F/10°C.

Good for flat surfaces but not small curved surfaces

Stupid I walked into a recycling bin and blew out a tail light lens. Decided to try this tape instead of spending $200 to replace the bedding + extra labor as the tailgate would have to be disassembled. Well, this bond is strong, tough. And I totally agree with other reviewers that it doesn't do well on curved surfaces due to its rigidity. Also, it's not so easy to get a perfect fit when air bubbles are squeezed out. If you look into bright light it will be pretty obvious too. This adds…

Pros
  • Apply and stick at any temperature above 50°F/10°C
Cons
  • Can't remember
