Good old PMA from 3M, reliable product for decades.

Good material, but it takes some practice and skill to use it successfully. Once you've applied it to the back of the print and peeled off the backing paper, the bonding becomes quite aggressive, so you'll need to be careful not to accidentally touch any part of the print to the back. This product has been around for decades and is used to capture photos on a substrate such as B. a mounting plate or a rigid foam board. I use it with a cold roll laminator, but you don't need it for that.

Great replacement for atomizer

As a graphic design grad student, I spent my freshman year converting my balcony into a small sprayer shack. Then I remembered this product I had used from one of my previous employers. It certainly saved the day as I was preparing to be considered for the candidacy. I order two rolls not knowing how many I need. I've assembled about twenty-five 15" x 30" boards and I'm not done with the first roll yet. Make sure you buy a mounting adhesive that will remain permanent after pressure has been…

Great product and easy to use

Great product. This solved my problem of sticking a drawing on paper onto an aluminum composite. When using normal 3M adhesive spray, the artwork came off after a short time and air bubbles formed in some places. When I used this glue the paper stayed flat and didn't peel off - it's been a few months now and I live in a fairly humid area so this product works very well. Whether there will still be problems in a few years remains to be seen, of course, but so far I am very satisfied. In terms of

Ideal for attaching photos or other artwork to a substrate

I have been using this adhesive for about 10 years and regularly apply prints up to 16" x 20". I think this is a great product. I only had problems with it when it was so hot that the adhesive film stuck to the supplied paper backing. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. Practice on scraps first. If you do a lot of editing, I recommend the 3M C-35 PMA Applicator. It's a large set of hand-operated rollers (think old washing machine wringer). It can be hard to find but it's worth it. The fact that it…

Good for editing photos or art

I edit a lot of photos to show in competitions, from 8x10 to 13x19. Before I found this product I screwed up too many prints with spray adhesive. There are no ruined prints, bubbles or loose edges with this product. You can move the imprint on the board until you have made the connection permanent with the included scraper. I use a "self-healing" cutting mat and a utility knife with a fresh blade. To cut the adhesive film, I place the print on the adhesive film so that it hangs over the…

  • Some cons

I ordered this glue to use in card making to glue layers of cardboard together. I was hoping that the "positional" element would give me the ability to adjust the layers if they aren't perfectly positioned. Then use a scraper to create a permanent bond. My experience so far is that it seems to work. First, I cut a strip of glue-coated backing paper about 0.5 inch wide. I placed it on the back of my A2 card, centered it, and then pressed it down. It's a really permanent mount and I was able to…

Great idea, poor execution

I had high hopes for this product as it allows me to easily and cleanly mount multiple high quality inkjet prints onto a matte board. Before I share my experience, I would like to reiterate some of the (negative) comments made by other Revain reviewers. (1) For practical reasons and despite the manufacturer's claims, this is not a movable mounting option. At least not that easy. In fact, one of the first instructions is to carefully place the print face down on the adhesive. Once an edge of the

Practice makes perfect, yes glue is sticky!

Purchased recently because I needed to attach 20 enlarged photos (16" x 20" and 20" x 30") to the foam core. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but followed the directions and it ended up working pretty well. I agree with one reviewer who said this adhesive can't really be positioned, but other than that it works better than an aerosol spray in my opinion. With practice, you will develop a workflow for using this product successfully. There are some tools you absolutely need…
