I have been using various 3M Precision mouse surfaces for a long time. They are very thin, have low resistance and last a very long time. I bought this for travel use for personal use on questionable surfaces. I use the one with repositionable adhesive at home and on the way to work. If you clean the sticky side with regular soap and water they will last very well for many years.

I have a Logitech MX Master 3 and while it can work on a glass table with dark laser technology, placing it on this mouse pad seems to improve accuracy and battery life by about 50%. It took me a long time to find out that the dirt that collects on the underside of my mouse is coming from the surface of this mouse pad. I often find dirt buildup on the rails of my Apple MagicMouse causing friction that causes the mouse to move erratically. For a YEAR I thought it was some mysterious dirt/grime coming off my hands or the table. Very annoying. I just found that my Ikea desk surface works better than this mouse pad. The product should be more stable/durable than this one.
